Spawn’s deal is basically “I brought you back even though you pretty much nothing in life now, so you might as well just shut up and serve me in my army”
But with Ghost Rider there’s some sense of a greater purpose and a life that you get to live as a regular person or as the Ghost Rider. While I love Spawn, his curse is fucked 💀

Didn't even mention how Malebolgia made sure to ruin every single bit of Spawn's life, not only reviving him 5 years late, but forcing him to watch as his wife moves on with his best friend while having a child, something he always wanted to do with her. Ghost Rider is an easy ticket to being a hero, Spawn is actually cursed. There's no contest.
