Michigan state Representative Neil Friske (R-Charlevoix) was arrested early Thursday morning after Lansing Police received a report of a man with a gun and possible shots fired.

I'm not an American (I live across the border), but I always thought that running down the street at 2 am brandishing and firing a gun, chasing after a stripper, is just a pretty normal exercise of 2nd Amendment rights. Or do I have that wrong?

That response from his campaign is so hilariously bad that I'm still not convinced it wasn't some kind of opportunistic troll attempt from his opponent. So he's supposed to debate his opponent on Monday. He supports 2nd amendment. The news knew before anyone else - including his people. No word if there was an intruder on his property or not. And now he's in jail, but the debate will go on without him. He's raised concerns in the past about China interfering with our elections. 🤔
I know we are surrounded by water, in Michigan, but this smells fishy!🎣
