Make sure your calculator is in radians mode. I suspect it is in degrees mode.

I have a question.

Let's say z=1+i

Argument of z would then be equals to 45 degrees. How about the argument of 2z?
Do you take 2 times 45 degrees? Or is the argument of 2z still equals to 45 degrees?

Wait so
| a + bi | doesn't mean it is the absolute value of (a+bi)? Is this an exception where " | | " doesnt stand for absolute value?

For the love of god, i stuck in a problems for 30mn because I thought it mean Absolute value

if u can calc. theta in degrees ur job is done. angle in rad = (ang in deg) * pi / 180
