Question: what about loose fitting go gage and NO fit of no go side, where the tap drill size was slightly larger than called out in machinery handbook? Thereby, the minor diameter checks larger than expected after tapping. Summary, good gage fit but large minor diameter. IYO, can this be considered acceptable? The blue print in this case makes no mention of minor diameter tolerances.
