Toronto Home Renovation with Blue Kitchen! - Before and After

Our latest renovation was Dashing Deloraine which was in the heart of Toronto. It was in a great location but as with all older properties needed a huge refresh.
On the main floor, we ended up refreshing their entrance way with a custom build out to add privacy, a book match tiled fireplace wall and new lighting fixture for the dining table. For the stairs, we opened it up and added glass while replacing the carpet with hardwood. Instead of the unsightly winding bookshelf, we went with a beautiful wine wall.
The powder room got a complete refresh with black and white wallpaper along with shiny flooring and a black pedestal sink. The kitchen got a complete refresh with brand new white cabinetry with navy blue accents, a satin brass custom hood and island with under-mount sink and gold fixtures and hardware. For the family room, we have this stunning vertical wood slate design with LED feature and a built-in storage unit below the TV for more functionality.
Upstairs we completely redesigned the layout moving the master closet and bathroom down the hall along while shifting the kids bathroom and bedroom further on. This made the master feel larger and more purposeful and created space for his/her closet. For the master, we have this green moulding detail that climbs the wall along with moulding on either side to frame out the night stands and these unique pendant lights.
For the closet, there is now a custom build out which includes jewellery drawers and pant racks. For the bathroom, we have a double sink and a feature shelf that connects into a niche. Overall theres a lot more storage space and the room feels more luxurious. For the kids bathroom we went with geometric wall times and striped floor with black accents. This pairs nicely with a two tone vanity and a fun irregularly shaped mirror.
For the basement, we had a large space but just need a new layout. We removed the majority of the steps to make way for a nice entry into a lowered theatre room. We added new storage and moulding with wall sconces to make way for the projector screen. The blue on the wall connects with the blue on the steps to the basement. The new paint and vinyl flooring makes the basement feel new and functional.

Absolutely stunning Iman! The fluted wall with the built in led light in the family room, was this custom millwork? I have been looking for this everywhere and all I can find is European manufactures and nothing in Canada or North America.
