MEROS - Martyred Red Angel | Warhammer 40k Lore

Today we shall be elucidate the deeds of the saviour of the 9th Legion: Meros.

As Junior Medicae of the Blood Angels, Meros would tend to the wounds of his Battle Brothers as a humble line soldier.

Yet fate would thrust Meros into the path of forever changing the destiny of his PriMarch: Sanguinius and sacrificing his soul for the survival of the Blood Angels.

Meros was already a badass, but sacrificing himself to save his Primarch turned him into a legend. I like to believe that Sanguinius was able to save Meros's soul after his death at the hands of Horus.
