Using a TV antenna is the easiest way to watch local broadcast networks such as ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and PBS and dozens of sub-channels.

Learning how to set up a TV antenna is really simple, and so isn’t identifying which models are the best for you.

You can watch the most popular TV shows for free in most of the U.S.
In this YouTube short, I take you through the process of identifying whether you need a TV antenna that can receive UHF and VHF signals, and where to place it.

This is very basic outline of what to do. People need to understand that those antennas that look like a mud flap don't work in all areas or won't get all the local channels available. Many times an outdoor antenna system is needed if you aren't near a big city.

Are they true local channels or the bs roku version

The point you should have made first is to see how many channels are available in your city.
In my city, I only have access to a few. So this argument many people keep making is stupid.
Not every American can get free. basic local (abc, cbs, fox, etc) .
And if I can get them I have to buy a big cable package.
The corrupt industry is a big racket . It’s not meant for cord cutters.

Most antenna manufacturers have gone away from dB gain. i have found many manufacturers lie about range and there's math and physics that appy to the shape of an antenna that cannot be violated (most antennas have to be directional. Omnidirectional is no good. Some look directional). They lie about hd antennas over a regular antennas (there is no such thing).
Height of an antenna is important, however, digital signals do not reflect as analog signals do, and today, it's all digital.
