Though I've Indian origins, I was born and grew up in London, but I've to say, At the time of interests when we western people see ach other as personalites, Indians every person as soul .and their perspective is not not just for human beings but for nature, animals, birds and all living things..they call earth as "Mother earth".. They worship rivers too..
I find their hindu civilization as a strong spiritual and scientific backed one..❤❤

As a Greek, I can confirm that we are taught in school that India and China had advanced civilisations and we respect them. The problem in my opinion with both, is that they kept largely to themselves, whilst the Greeks (and the Romans after them) had always the tendency to expand and spread. As a result we don't know much about these civilisations. Moreover, later when Christianity became the dominant organised religion, the monasteries focused on preserving the science, the arts, the philosophy and the history of Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome mainly (in my opinion again) because they had become Christian nations by then. Culturally though I still find that India and China do not promote their history as much and we still do not know much about them.

It's amazing that the Greek & Romans had so much respect for ancient Indian & African cultures it really puts in perspective that racism is a new ideology that people pretend is old & doesn't exist anymore.
