Clearly these statistics do not reflect popularity of the games because thats absolutely laughable that by the end of the clip fallout 76 is "more popular" than fallout new vegas or fallout 3. Fallout 76 is pretty universally disliked in the fallout community. Ofc there are those who like it but not many and everyone knows that. While fallout NV has the largest community of fans that completely idolize the game. Fallout 3 also certainly has alot more die hard fans than 76. Fallout 3 was a major success for bethesda and blew the company up while fallout 76 was a distaster for them and hurt their reputation.

Companies have to realize that good or bad your game is gonna sell alot if it has a large fan base from previous entries being popular. Just because it sells alot does not mean you did something right and made a good game and should keep going in that direction. It wouldve sold alot no matter what cuz its a fallout game and people love fallout. But it couldve been much much higher in sales and wouldve gave the company momentum instead of hurting their rep if they made a good game. The games should be made more true to the ones that made the IP so popular to begin with. They have so much potential at their fingertips and they squander it and it doesnt matter to them cuz their brand is so successful at this point no matter what. Their best stuff was made when they didnt have so much security and had a much smaller team. The company seemed to drastically change after skyrim because of the success. When your studio and job is on the line youll make a better game. And when its a smaller team there is going to be more passion.
