I start a new motorcycle adventure in Vietnam. The plan is to ride around the entire country from the mountains in the north down the Ho Chi Minh Trail to Saigon and the Mekong Delta in the south. Explore all the different regions of this unique country.

First up I explore the city of Hanoi, then head out into the mountains to the west, on a Royal Enfield Scram.

Hi from Vietnam Dirtbike Travel Ryan, this is Min.
That’s great to see you finally post on the Vietnam trip, I thought it was disappointed you and you not gonna make this project 😂.
It was such a good video mate. Thanks for bringing us up in the story.
I hope I had some time to go with you on that trip, but until we meet again mate.
Be safe out there and keep up the good work.

From 🇻🇳 with ❤

Watching this reminded me of my own journey through Vietnam on a motorbike. I started in Saigon and rode all the way to Hoi An, passing places like Cat Tien, Dalat, and Nha Trang. The ride is just as much about the people you meet and the little moments as it is about the views. Amazing storytelling!

I rode through Vietnam a while back, and this hit hard.
It’s messy, beautiful, and full of life—just like I remember.

I spent 6 months riding across vietnam in 2023, started in saigon, and rode to the chinese border, the trip of a lifetime. Couldn't help but think my himalayan 411 would have been the perfect bike for the trip compared to the little 110cc bike i did it on. Love the channel!

Hi Joe, thanks for sharing another adventure. I was quite surprised to see this video. I’m so pleased for you that Royal Enfield are sticking with you and helping you out.
The new Joe Ryan slogan - I’m on my way but don’t know where I’m going!!
The scenery is spectacular already, I’m guessing it only gets better. Keep up the great work Joe 👍🇦🇺

Absolutely, the Royal Enfield SCRAM 411 is a real beast! It's known for its ruggedness and versatility, making it perfect for both urban commuting and off-road adventures.

Your production quality is getting insane, the intro for this video was BBC quality. This video coincided with a big day for me, I bought my first bike today. And I was inspired to do so in no small part because of your videos, especially your NZ series (I'm from NZ and you made me realize I need to explore my own country). Thanks for the awesome videos dude.

Way to go Joe. Who would have thought this your next port of call.
Nice choice.
What a stunning country she is, the geography, culture, food and beautiful people they are.
Huge typhoon caused terrible flooding and the wind terrible destruction 3-4 months ago, hence the flooded land.
Wait till you get to Saigon, the amount of motorcycles is staggering 😂especially in rush hour.
Your eye is certainly detailed in capturing the finer elements surrounding you ✨
A joy to watch 🫡

I travelled to Vietnam for 25 days from December the 11th 2024. I rode many of the same roads as you have, though I did a few more loops that you missed out on which was a shame, though maybe you will get them in later if you have time. It was so nice to watch your videos as all I did was take photos.
Many of them in the same places that you stopped at on your travels.
I brought back so many memories for me .
I absolutely love the country, the people and the wonderful scenery.
This was my 3rd trip there and although there are other places I'd like to visit I would never rule out going back.
I will enjoy your future episodes. Thank you.

Thank you! What a refreshingly down to earth and beautiful vlog. I am planning to take my teenage son on a multimonth motorbike trip around Vietnam later this year and this has really rekindled my excitement.

Thank you for taking the time to explain the difficulty in balancing volume. Personally, I do not watch these adventure videos for their music content. Nor do I listen to music when riding. The experience itself is so enthralling that interfering with the sounds that naturally occur and the silence and sounds of nature when stopped detract from the overall experience. Your videos are so good. The depth and quality of the cinematography amazing the research and description of the actual experience very informative, and in my opinion, adding a playlist detracts from that. Again, thank you for taking the time to explain the process.
