BIG Fish in Upper Tampa Bay, Mobbly Bayou

Fishing backwater canals in Mobbly Bayou, Tampa Bay for snook, redfish and speckled trout. I caught an inshore slam fishing a white swimbait up under the mangroves on the micro skiff and wading fishing.

I know that fishery well from when I lived in Palm Harbor. Used to launch my kayak and throw topwater along the oyster bars, points and cuts. Lots of snook, reds and trout in the winter there. I now live on the Myakka... few reds and trout unless down in the harbor, but an amazing snook fishery down here too. Keep catching them! Great video!

Love fishing that creek and caught alot of fish from it. I will say wait till it starts getting really cold, cause then you wont even have to leave the first little open water area by the ramp, those redfish get stacked in their heavy and usually the second area were it opens up at on the other side usually gets alot of trout and really big snook.

Sick video dude. That snook was weird as hell for staying as low as he did. When does the uncut version come out with you dragging the skiff through 2 inches of water for 2 hours? 😂😂
