Gavin, real talk. My wife and I are well-paid professionals in our late 30s, and consider ourselves to be "whales" when it comes to purchasing product from WOTC. I spend a fair amount on sealed product. But MH2 sealed product is too expensive - $270+ for a 36-pack booster box of draft boosters is just... too much. I can't do it. I ordered a box and cancelled it. That's more than my wife's car payment. Just passing this up to you in hopes it gets to whomever should see it.

A set where almost all artworks would be of "surrealism" style would be something different and that i'd like to see. Could do a plane where it is flavorful to have things going strange, chaotic, and well.... surrealistic... with a story that would fit. Things were not always like that on the plane, some planeswalker there to investigate what is causing that. Cause things intensifies and are about to create some kind of singularity that is endangering its inhabitants.

Between my prerelease kit and set booster box today I opened all 5 fetches (among them was a foil misty and 2 tarns, one was retro frame)! This set is 🔥. Can't wait to pick up my draft box next week!

I'm not a fan of the sketch treatments myself, but I love love love the high volume of special/showcase/retro frame treatments, because it takes the demand pressure off of the nuts variants I most covet.

Awesome box opening, Gavin! Your pulls were absolutely NUTS! Say, do you think in a future video you could talk about how Grist, the Hunger Tide came to be? I would LOVE to know more about that card's creation and the flavor. Was the concept for Grist something R&D has wanted to do for a while and just waited for the right set to do it? I'd also love to hear your thoughts on Modern Horizon sets featuring more "out there" planeswalker designs, like Wrenn and Six from MH1. Thank you!

101 uncommons, 44 rares and 8 mythics, not counting any list cards, including 4 fetchlands and cabal coffers. That's a pretty fucking good box most will never see :(

Man, this opening was nuts! I don't usually like box openings but hearing all your thoughts and insights gave this a nice podcast-like feel rather than just hunting for rares or whatever
