Replacing the battery for the iPhone 14 Pro is literally the same for the 14 pro max, 13 pro, and 13 pro max. This tutorial will help you replace the battery of iPhones new and old models

The removal process is not very difficult, you can add a few drops of alcohol to help you remove the battery (in that case pull tabs will not work). You can use heat as I did but make sure you use plastic tools.

You doesn't need a heatgun for the battery you can just tow on the tape at the end of the bettery

There are pull tabs on the battery so you don't have to pry it out. Kind of like a command strip.

Is it wise to heat the phone with the device still turned on? Surely it’s best to switch off the phone before heating it up?

Your instructions were excellent. I messed up when taking out the OLD BATTERY and that half circle covering came off and I ripped through that band of wire. I cut right through my flex cable wire. It goes underneath your phone and mine had a protective covering over it. I cannot screenshot anything or turn my phone off now.

What parts does one need to fix that? On 5 min 44 sec of video shows a great pic of the inside of the 1/2 circle of tape covering that band. I put my new battery in pulled off the tape. The NEW BATTERY has to come off again.

Yeah so two things I cannot do is :
1) turn off my phone
2) take screenshots.

I’m assuming my battery was defective and would get hot often . So the backside of my battery looks like it has tape melted on it. On the bottom back side.

So it looks like I have to completely disassembled the entire phone in order for this to be fixed. Can they weld that brown band that goes across width wise east to west or west to east for the flex cable that I cut off?
