Def Leppard 'Animal' Drum Cover

I'm 17 now and have been playing drums for 14 years!! This song is what started it all! I was in the car with my dad as a young boy and I heard a song that just captured my attention, this song i sang around the house forever. I had to ask my dad what the song was and when I found out the incredible story of the band and their drummer I was inspired. I ended up getting a first act kit when I was 3 years old and I taught myself to play along with Def Leppard songs with one arm! This song will forever be in my heart as my favorite song of all time! This band and the drummer Rick Allen will always be my favorites because to me they started it all. I have always wanted to do a drum cover of this song but was nervous because Rick Allen is such a good drummer and I can hardly keep up, but I hope you enjoy this!!
Also in this video I'm using the Rick Allen signature drumsticks and drumming gloves by Ahead! This is also the first video where I use my new custom in ear monitors from Alclair. The clarity of Alclair custom IEMs are amazing and I definitely recommend the switch to any musician especially drummers!

At the intro the ride cymbal should be played every 2 beats that you would normally hit. I understand that it is easier to hit ride cymbal on every kick, hovewer the song should be played differently - look into the drum tabs. I am struggling with not hitting the ride cymbal during the double kick in this exact song and it is hard as hell.
