Just came across one of your old videos. The glass insulator looks great in a sunny window. The color of yours is gorgeous. Hanging from a tree in groupings looks good too !

The English tin looks like a tea caddy. The Smith Bros. is neat. I remember their cough drops...especially the licorice flavored. Cookbooks are all over the shelves here. Being an insulator collector, the one you have is a fairly common style. Nice color.

Tin-sel Town is so clever! Love the haul. Since I've been watching your videos, I've gotten even more interested in vintage, since I'm getting more nostalgic the older I get, and I've started getting more vintage Christmas things at Goodwill. Insulators, like the one that you have that is blue, were used on telephone poles up at the top to prevent lightning from striking the wires. My brother used to work for the phone company and he told me that apparently the dark red ones are the most valuable.

I believe the design on the English tin is called Chintz.

I think the spice mix in the Crabtree & Evelyn spice rack may be Chinese 5 spice. It’s mainly used in Asian cooking. But that’s just a guess!

I had an identical strawberry tin in my first kitchen back in 1983! I would buy it again if I ever came across another one!
