I tell you what do buy a new ranchero bring it into a custom shop chop the rear section of the roof get rid of the rear doors extend the bed and turn the engine 90 degrees to the left, and use the rear axel front the bronco or base mustang and offer both a manual transmission and an automatic

It will never happen, the problem with the ranchero is the CAFE which as a car needs to meet car requirements for mpg. Cars require a much different emissions and weight to meet the CAFE standards, which is why car sales are gone from ford and GM. So, the likelihood of this being built, is about as likely as everyone getting a 100k tax free check from the government..
