If you have a home park, appreciate it! be thankful with what you have because you would be like me and not have any, even with that I can't help to feel super enthusiastic with parks and attractions and with all this community it just blasted to oblivion, I never thought there was so much stuff regarding parks, I didn't know about manufacturers, models, chains, etc. and it's all become a very important part of my life

Theme parks have affected me because it’s been something to do. My parents used to say that I needed a hobby and theme parks gave me one. I just go to my home park on the weekend!
My favourite memory from a theme park is when there was an earthquake while I was on a ride! Usually, earthquakes don’t happen in the UK so we don’t worry about them but one did happen while I was on a Zamperla Volare so if I’m being honest, I couldn’t feel anything

I moved to Tampa just so I could have my childhood homepark as my backyard, 10 minutes away. I go almost more than I ever dreamed of going when I used to live 3 hours away, I'm one who NEEDS this.

Here’s my story...

Theme Parks impacted my life for the best.. My first job ever was working for hersheypark I originally intended in working in foods for the park but the day of my interview I asked to be put into a rides interview, my mom drove me to the hiring event I was beyond nervous since it was my first interview ever and I nailed it my mom was beyond happy & excited since she worked for the park with sanitation for several years many years ago before hand I later realized that jobs aren’t always about the money nor going home, sleeping, and doing it all again the next day it brought me a lot of joy (for the most part besides a few days) and many great friendships that I still hold today!

My favorite memory? Simple it had to be my off days of just traveling to different parks with fellow colleagues and experiencing new attractions and experiences which would bring me happiness and peace as corny as it may sound but theme parks are truly a blessing if you don’t want a lame 9-5 job that’s the same old same every single day then I can guarantee that everyday at a park is totally different since a lot can go on and you will always be making new and amazing experiences with guests and the people you work with especially life long friendships it’s tough to say but if it wasn’t for working with the park for the 4 years I did I wouldn’t be working my dream job with the hershey bears the park lead to greater things for me but it always shows never to give up on what you really want to achieve in life...

1. They are places where I don’t have to worry about anything, and just get to have fun.
2. Going on Untamed at Walibi Holland for the first time. I had followed the whole construction process and when I finally stood in the station to go on it for the first time, it felt very surreal. Luckily, the coaster went above my expectations.

By the way, love the way you interact with your viewers!

1.Theme parks affected my life by making me a coaster enthusiast, loving theme park rides, and making my own coaster YouTube channel plus it makes me want to create coasters in the future
2. my favorite memory was my first time going to SFOT in 2010 it was so much fun and made me love theme parks even more

I loved this vid. Theme parks are just special places. There’s something about just walking around and up to a ride and seeing it fly around the track makes me fell so happy. My favourite park experience is whenever I would go to Alton Towers and takes my friends on the coasters for the first times

1. I always enjoyed rollercoasters, as a kid I just loved watching them even though I was too scared to ride them. They were so tall and I still am afraid of heights. Themeparks are a place where I can experience tall rides like hyper coasters and droptowers without having to worry about my safety.
2. My favorite memory at a themepark was riding Silver star at Europa park in Germany in the front row. It is such an intimidating ride. The moment we were climbing the lifthill, it started raining. When we went down the first drop the rain felt like small bullets. I came off the ride totally soaked and also with a lot of adrenaline because I'd ridden such a tall rollercoaster in the front row.

Theme parks made me a coaster enthusiast. I’ve visited states I wouldn’t go to without them (well just Ohio) and it brings a thrill I can’t get anymore. 2 of my fondest experiences at theme parks were riding Steel Vengeance for the first time as nothing has given me a thrill on that level on any theme park attraction and it just left me speechless. The other time was riding Hagrid’s at Islands of Adventure at night in the front on the bike. That alone would be amazing but it was that much better riding it with my family not knowing about the surprises on the coaster and seeing their reaction. They in fact didn’t care much about going on it at first because they thought it was just some family coaster and it was our last ride we did so we were pretty tired and they just wanted to leave but I convinced them so they did it. I can’t imagine if we didn’t.

Favourite park memory? Teenage trips to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, be it with school or just a group of us on a Saturday. Not only was that when I really got onto coasters but just spending time with people I don’t get to see nearly as much any more.

I miss going to Theme/Amusement parks so bad. I hope I get to visit them again. Almost every year me and my mom have visited Kings Island. I love seeing the fountains they are so pretty especally at night and hearing that calming music.

I don’t know where I would be today without roller coasters and amusement parks. I fell in love after riding Outlaw Run in 2013. A few years ago I gained enough weight to the point where I couldn’t fit 75% of coasters. Initially I swore off the parks and coasters. Eventually I got interested again and knew I had to lose the weight if I wanted to enjoy my hobby again. And I did, I’ve lost ~100 pounds! The only thing holding me back is the pandemic now. I’ve only been to three amusement parks since 2018 began, so I’m eager to get back into it without the worry of not fitting on rides. Who knows where I would be if my biggest passion did not require me to be (somewhat) in shape? I credit many things to my weight loss, but I don’t know if I could have done it without roller coasters. And forget the coasters, I am a healthier and happier person now. I’ve probably added years of life to myself and I know I am capable of many things I would have not even dreamed of a few years ago!

The adrenalin and endorphins released by your brain during a two minute roller coaster ride can have a lasting effect for hours, and the high is better than any drug that can be consumed. My favorite moment was on Son of Beast's third day of operation. I rode in the front car after a 5 hour wait and realized, if I can ride this monster that kicked my behind, I can ride any roller coaster in the world. Great vid B!!! WHO DEY

I LOVE this video! Everyone needs to see it. If more people went to theme parks, we wouldn't have nearly as much crime, drug abuse, bullying, anxiety, depression, stress, or worst of all, politics. My home town of Tulsa really went downhill in all areas after our small amusement park, Bell's, closed down. They are a vital part of society, extremely essential! My story of how theme parks have affected my life, and quite possibly saved my life multiple times, would be very lengthy, but I truly do believe in and have felt the power and importance of theme parks.

Sesame Place, by distance, is my home park and the only one less than an hour of home. With the only way to reach a park is via the major roads predominantly, it made them seem distant and more special-even though I’m a tad jelly of people who practically grew up on a park’s doorstep. Travel symbolizes both the distance between us, but also just how close we are at the same time. I guess that kinda leads into to part 2 (but not exactly). When I did American Music Abroad in 2016, we didn’t visit parks, but were on the doorsteps of the parks in Garda on July 5th and passed a few parks through Germany toward the end. However when I was in Austria, going on one of the trails in the mountains above Westendorf, everything going on back home politically didn’t matter (and I’d say we are far from the closure of that)-what mattered was that I had finally gotten to the Alps and it’s beautiful. Weather it’s people within our little community, or outside of that, I have many fond memories. I made a video at the start of the Pandemic that I’d pick Worldwide Koaster Kids Day as my best day in a park, but maybe I pick a day with those I grew up alongside instead.

My favorite theme park memory was riding Volcano TBC for the first time on Kings Dominion, and it is still my favorite ride ever.

As usual Brandon, a very well done video but this one was very special. So many people need to watch this. I also enjoyed hearing a little bit about your family. I just recently really started to get my wife into a love of coasters on our last trip to Cedar Point and we have talked about different parks we need to visit next. We are also hoping to have a child of our own one day soon as this is something we want them to get to experience with them also. To kind of build off your inspiration point too, my love of coasters inspired me to become an engineer. I wanted to design coasters, but even though I currently don’t I still became a Mechanical Engineer in a career that I love.
