Really nice reaction. From the moment this performance became available on YT it became iconic. For their big shows in Japan they have had stages that do all kinds of things including move out into the audience. This stage doesn't do that but it does move up and down. And in back of the performance area there is a platform that is used to raise and lower props. Like the huge thrones in Metal Kingdom live PIA Arena. No expense seems spared on the presentation of these shows. And the stages a thing of wonder.

I was in the crowd for this performance at PIA Arena. It was an absolutely magical moment to be part of.

All of Babymetal's song are played on either seven or eight string guitars. Chris Kelly usually plays a Musicman Cutlass Jason Richardson Custom, and CJ Masciantonio plays a Schecter Sunset-24 7 FR.

The Kami Band are on the left and right sides of the stage. Chris and Clint are on the left side of the stage, and Anthony and CJ are on the right side.

The stage setups for these shows are always one off custom designs that are only used for that one weekend. Each Babymetal headline show in Japan is a one time event that is never repeated.

The stage platform that they are standing on had hydraulics in it and it moved up and down at different times during the show.

Nice reaction! The song "Monochrome" is one of my favorite songs with beautiful melody, very positive lyrics, SU's great voice, and MOA&MOMO's choreography, all perfect!🦊🌈

There's another video of the song on the First Take channel that's a stripped down, piano & vocals only and it's just as amazing in a different way. It was filmed & released before Momometal became official, so it's only Su & Moa on the video. But it's worth another reaction because it's still so good.

Great reaction to an awesome song. Even the cat was bouncing off the walls!
This is a dazzling gem in their discography, up their with the greats. I think this would be better as a default first reaction instead of Gimmie Chocolate. It shows enough of their powers to instantly impress, but also doesn't give away the more crazy or kawaii stuff they do. When reactors see this they just hear a great song and see a class act, with Su having Freddie Mercury levels of crowd control and feel the love of the crowd straight away.
If they have a song on the next album that tops this one they are going to have a full-on masterpiece on their hands.

Thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。I witnessed this very performance at the venue on April 2. 2023 where and when Momoko was inducted into BABYMETAL officially. Yes, she had a headset mic for the first time like Moa has had since BM's inception. I sang the ♪ oh oh ohoo ♪ part with Momometal with my loudest voice in the show holding my phone. I was in bliss, for sure!
The flying drones with cameras that enabled the beautiful aerial cinematograph were manipulated by experts including Ms. Shiraishi. She is a member of team Japan for World Drone Racing Championship.
Our Kami Band played in the girls' back. They have supported BABYMETAL since 2019. Japanese fans always appreciate the devoted support like knights by Chris, CJ, Anthony, and 3 bassists (Clint in this show). They are really unsung heroes.

Nice reaction! I will never get tired of hearing Monochrome, especially this Pia Arena version. There is a song I don't see on your playlist called 'Yava'. There is one from 2024 with a Kami band intro that is really good. There is also one from several years ago that also has an intro from the original Kami band. That is also one you don't want to miss. So, you have a choice. :)

8:48 they've used some movable stages before, like in Makuhari Messe (Legend Metal Galaxy) or the venue for Moametal's birthday concert (Legend-M) in Nagano. This stage has a lifting central stage, just like Legend-MM concert in Yokohama, where the ladies are performing at on this video; it's already lifted while they performed this song.

Hell yeah man, this is absolutely one of my favorite songs by Babymetal. And yeah, unfortunately, the "For the Fox God" channel put up the entire "Legend 43" concert, which was still in US and EU movie theaters at the time. I believe it was nuked by the 3rd party company, "Live Viewing Japan" which may have had partial rights to the movie perhaps? Regardless, probably not the best idea when it was still in theaters, lol.

At this venue, the center circular stage moves up and down. However, Babymetal has had many different arena venues where stages move across the entire length of the arena while moving up and down, etc. Their stages for major arena shows are typically very elaborate!

Monochrome was part of the 4th Album "The Other One", which was released in early 2023. This show (Pia Arena MM) was Apr 2023, and Momo was announced as the 3rd official member after Day 1 of the show (this video was Day 2).

Suggestion: *YAVA!* - Legend MM, with Kami Band Intro - Hymnodic channel has a solid version with subtitles too.

The Other ONE album was released in March 2023.
In that particular setup, the center stage "only" goes up and down. There are other two stages at the sides.
They have setups with moving platforms that go into the audience. Other setups with fixed "satellite" stages connected by a walkway and also 360 stages placed in the middle of the venues (Budokan and Tokyo Dome).
One of my top favorite bands apart from BABYMETAL is Amon Amarth. They sing a lot about Thor and Ragnarök. 😁
