I used to do airsoft activities with my friends, since then the airsoft dies leaving my gears with dust and debris. I transition from airsoft to real thing. I started to visit shooting range. And do tactical shooting with my gears. Cause i don't want to throw them away, i started to put real armor plates and 6 mags on the plate carrier itselft. And made it to 30lbs all in all.
Here's the thing I learned, keep yourself lightweight, you'll have to regret putting 6 mags in the front. Fully loaded.
1. Front heavy(maybe not for airsoft since they're plastic)
2. You can't stay very low to the ground for cover because you're like a pregnant woman.
3. Front is not the only place you can attach those mag pouches.
4. You become very bulky in front when slinging the rifle.

It's okay, but try to crawl with it. I recommend a tactical belt for this type of vests
