Birdy is from my generation, we are from the same year, I remember her beginnings, but she was completely forgotten afterwards, even though her artistic potential is enormous. It's such a shame because she knows how to do everything music, singing, writing she deserves much more success...I came back here after the rumors that this song could represent uk at eurovision. This is SUCH an exciting direction for And this video had me in tears, I didn't realize that the "we" she's singing about is her and her younger self the first time I heard it. It's a fascinating exploration and expression of what can essentially be boiled down to the question "Do you ever look back at your past self and wish that the present you could be there to guide your past self and reassure her that everything will be alright?"
