Two people rescued from sinking truck in Connecticut

Two people were rescued from a truck sinking in a partially frozen lake by the Stamford Fire Department in Connecticut, Monday, February 1.

Firefighters donned cold water rescue suits to free the driver of the truck as it became fully submerged in the icy water.

Both people were evaluated by medical crews and one was taken to the hospital.

The fire department said the incident is under investigation. February 2nd, 2021.
