1967 Honda CL125A - Back from the dead!

I've been looking for one of these for years. This thing was very crispy and I think maybe in a fire? Something melted the seat and left something melted or burnt all over the tank. 8k miles. The last sticker on it was from 1975 and I wouldn't doubt that it's been tucked away since then. Compression looked a little low (105 left 110 right) but doable. Put in a new battery, straightened up some wiring and plug wires, new plugs, and threw on a carb from a CL125S just to see if it would fire while the original carb got some love in the ultrasonic cleaner. Could not BELIEVE when it fired up and purred like a sewing machine! No smoking or anything, idles great. Like they say- runs like a Honda. This still needs a ton of work but off to a very rewarding start.
