I believe Lucario has always given a guaranteed candy xl when catching it. So it might be that it is a 2nd guaranteed candy xl for catching lucario or you might actually get a rare candy xl when catching it. We have had this bonus one time back during the Halloween event but it was incredibly rare to get one.

I guarantee the additional rare xl is a typo. They do this all the time when they mean regular xl. They did it on the one transfer spotlight hour and last minute changed it to regular xl.

heracross when it had a raid day didnt give an xl candy when caught very often, like 50 raids gave 15 hera xl candy, it all but definitely means like when bought ticket for ultra beasts we got 1 candy xl in the catch screen after the potions and such

yes you will get a RARE CANDY XL when catching lucario. Not a lucario XL important distinction

4:18 that groudon is level 40 I think because my shundo lv 44.5 groudon is 6229 cp so I think the keldeo you talked about later in the video is just lv40 which is a lot easier than 50
