Cool hero concept! I honestly like how all of this is explained and i really see all of this would fit him

Great concept and video. I love the barier/bridge idea. I also love how you clarify how they work by using other games, it really helps.
It seems like a hard but fun hero to play

I was really interested and thought this was great, heard the ult and sighed and thought wow this is stupid. But then once you explained a few points about it I realised there’s a lot of counterplay which is good!

Love this idea!

Great video as usual! I like how he uses the same technology as Symmetra, but the kit and play style is far different amazing job!!

I love this concept, especially the ultimate! Since EMP shuts down ability focused heroes I've kinda wandered if they'd make a hero with a weapon disable ability to complement hack so this lived up to that

14:27 imagine how canceled blizzard would be if they use that as the ult icon

Builder Main Tank with self sustain sounds amazing.

10:20 Lol I wanted to write a comment about exactly what you explained there before I saw it. You really thought of everything, good job!

I'd really love to have that in-game!

Great presentation, but I have a few points with regards to the hero:
- Do the barrier nodes have hitboxes?
- A lot of the specific limitations can be represented via UI (have all eligible surfaces glow faintly), so I'm not terribly worried about explaining that part
- Sanjay using 2 barriers in rapid succession would be 1400 barrier HP, still less than Rein and on a longer effective cooldown per HP than Orisa
- I can already see some DIRTY ways to use the bridge/barrier interaction against enemies. You can give your Pharah and snipers a barrier in places other main tanks normally would not, or just have Junkrat stand above the enemy and rain grenades.
- Is setting 2 nodes too long of a deploy time for most players? I feel like it would be hard to really block things in the same way other tanks do if it takes too long to set up. An alternative might be literally setting only the first node and the barrier goes out horizontal/vertical to the max length or until the center hits a wall
- The regen ability seems really weak to burst damage, not sure how it would be good outside of 1v1s.
- The ult sounds like something that would just piss people off more than anything else. I think EMP is already pushing it in terms of the kind of CC that feel ok to fight against, and this (especially combined with EMP or grav) would be extremely frustrating to play against. Plus, it feels like more of a support ability ala Lucio/Zen/Brig than something you would see on Rein or Orisa. Tank ults are mostly used to zone the enemy or set up other ults, and I feel there are likely better options here.

I was thinking maybe with like just the way hard light sounds to work, enemies being able to walk on his structures as well could prove interesting and maybe balancing as then he could also destroy it and make them plummet?

You should add achievements to the hero concepts like what you would have to do to get there cute and pixel sprays. Great Concept keep up the dope videos. The D.Mon concept was sick to hope they actually add these heros one day

this is interesting, so now you don't need symmetra to teleport reinhardt or Orisa to the high ground on Anubis A.
I did talk months ago about the concept of Sanjay as a tank, him having a suit on which projects a hard light shield like Reinhardt does and having a rocket jump ability like Winston does and thirdly, one of his arms is a built in cannon/large gun, like Orisa. so he would be a hybrid of the current 3 main tanks. Winston's problem is, his shield is a drop and forget thing that enemies can avoid or run through, Reinhardt's problem is his mobility, Orisa has both of those problems + her massie hit box. this character design fixes all 3 and puts them into 1 character. The only problem is, then the other 3 might never be used, since Sanjay is just a better verston of all 3.

The bridge part of the barrier looks like it could have so much potential :000

even though i'm really hoping sanjay is a main healer and builder, this is very interesting. the only thing i'm not a big fan of is his ultimate. doesn't seem all that fun.

i might have misunderstood you but i'm pretty sure you don't need to be skilled in "hardlight weaving" or whatever, to utilize vishkar weapons... you'd only need it if you planned on building/creating something with one of those techy arms.
