I've seen so many convoluted videos on sampling with the MK3, but this was by far the most simple yet intuitive demonstration. Thank You...

The duplicate method is absolutely what I was after! Fluid and old school! Awesome! Thank you!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Normalize was the best pro-tip ever. What a difference this simple little step makes. TY!

Thanks! Between the lack of instructional videos and forums where people just argue it's nice to come across quick straight to the point tutorials. Wasted so much time elsewhere, awesome! :)

One of the dopest samples ever. Ludacris and Dilated Peoples both turned this into a smash hit. Cool flip!

This sample was used in pretty popular finnish rap song called "Parempi mies" by the artist Cheek. Funny how i just stumbled on this today. Also, thanks for the duplicate-tip, i've been assigning the slices 1 by 1 like a true sucker.

This video just convinced me to pick up the Machine MK3 and I'm an Akai Renaissance user. The MK3's workflow seems way better and much more efficient.

Very useful, and to-the-point video. I was researching Ableton 10 last night, and Push 2. Finally (I guess since 9.5), Ableton can "chop" using hardware (not generic midi controllers, but ONLY with Push 2... in Ableton's Simpler instrument, for example)... but Maschine's been able to do this since 2009.

And considering the MK3's price point... all the instruments/sounds/kits you get... vs. Ableton's Push 2 + Suite ($1400)... I just can't see the point of Ableton, anymore. 64 pads is cool and all, but I like the bigger 4x4 grid, which has been the standard since the late 80s, for hip-hop production. Ableton's great for a lot of things, but when it comes to hip-hop production... nothing can touch Maschine (especially MK3). The Maschine 2 library to me, sounds about a million times more useful than Ableton's presets for all their Instruments. I really think Maschine is just killing everything these days.

Thanks again for the great vid!
