Even though I purchased the Gradient awhile back, I still enjoying watching this video for inspiration.  I especially love the part at 3:30 when you transition from what looks like a Matrix toss into the partial Black Hops.  Not sure why but that quick sequence just looks very slick :)

One day my Gradient will bend to my will and do exactly that!

This may be a lengthy comment... I own three yoyos, a yyf "one" that I got with the recommended kit (the kit was awesome), a yyf shutter that I upgraded to, and a CLYW chief. I got the chief after 7-8 months of play experience and considered myself an intermediate player judging by my progress through your 1a playlist (I think I was at kwijibo). I recently had earned an unexpected sum of money and I don't buy things for myself often, so I decided to spoil myself and get the yoyo I had my eyes on for several months. The yoyo is amazing, but I was expecting longer spin times. Right now on a strong throw, I can only get about 2:30 on it, which is comparable to my yyf shutter, a much cheaper throw. I was wondering if this is something I should have expected and that the shutter just has awesome spin time or something else. Maybe my bearing is not perfect? It seems to play slightly louder now than out of the package back in July, but I think the bearing comes lubed. Anyways, if you're still reading this essay of a comment, do you have any thoughts?

I had my shutter for 4 months now should I replace the brake pad because before it binds it stays in its place for a little bit and then is returns I know how to bind perfectly so is it the brakes and should I replace it

It's awesome that u guys respond to people! If any of you have the time I was just wondering what yoyo would be a smart buy for me. I haven't used a yoyo for 5 years but my very first one was a dark magic. Unfortunately back then I didn't know what an unresponsive yoyo was and used that amazing yoyo with the responsive bearing it came with. Any suggestions for what I should be looking at? The yoyo in this video caught my eye but I'm really interested in string tricks like Yuki slack.

I accidentally pored a little to much thin lobe on the bearing and the yoyo won't come back up and FYI I'm using the same bearing that was in the sage pro how can I fix it and do I need to buy thick lobe

Hey yotricks, I have a question...

I'm getting 100$ and I was wondering, should I get the Terrarian Pro Pack, or the Gradient Pro Pack? I like the shape of the Terrarian, a lot actually, but the colors are extremely lacking, unless I buy from another website. But, the Gradient is great for my type of play (Heavy String Tricks with grinds and finger spins).

I can get both, since I'll be getting another 100 after that, but that just rolls me into my next question. If I get the Terrarian Pro Pack, should I get the Gradient Pro Pack, or the Shutter Competition Pack? Same if I get the Gradient Pro Pack.

what are the advantages of flat bearings over concave or center track??

I bought a gradient and loved it until it started playing responsive.i tried every thing except cleaning the bearing. Even when I put in a bearing from a yoyo that played unresponsive it played responsive.i do not know how I could possibly fix this. please help!

Can u help me compare and tell me why center Trac bearing is more recommended than the konkave bearing for the yoyo shutter?
