Hi Everyone!

Check out this beautiful Porsche 356C! Our good friend dropped it off for a bit of routine service, but watch and see what little nasties I encounter. We'll get it completely sorted, but this is Part 1. Brakes. Enjoy!

I don't know why I never thought to wire up the catch can! Much better process than having that thing hanging around and spilling all over. Thanks for the tip!!!

I think we all knew you would be great to have as a friend and this video is proof. Not just the fact that you provided help, but conscientious help. It was great to have Heidi appear as well.

FYI Just did the brakes on my Mercedes and I found "speed bleeder valves" that have one way check valves built into them. Made changing the brake fluid so easy. Highly recommend them.

Another great video.... I've got a feeling Franny is a mechanical engineer ?

This series will be super interesting.
That plastic fuel tank cover is used on all T6 cars not only Cs, my 1962 T6B Karmann Coupé has it also. I've had a similar dual brake circuit conversion done to the car using a later VW master cylinder that fits right in. Having that kind of reservoar would be nice, now have it on top of the master cylinder and it is a pain checking the level. Now going for one of the last drives this season before winter comes here in Scandinavia.

Very informative. I just bought a 2001 996. Looking forward to learning how to take care of it. Can't wait for your next video.

Hi franny: thanks for a great presentation on this 356C. You are truly a magical person. The way you relate to things mechanical is awsome. It seems you are functioning under the aegis of some mystical. Power. The way you gravitate to the task at hand is a joy to belold. I look forward to additional presentations in the future. I wish you all the best. Sincerely, Bruce Miller

Hi Franny, please look on the pedalbox, many 356 have problems with mastercylinder inside leaking... Note: The copperwasher thickness on the Calipper has 2mm.... Sorry, bad english😉🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪

I’m replacing all my hardlines on a 1965c barn find. Don’t have any videos on the hardlines? Even the 356registry site seems to be lacking and the 4 manuals I have don’t cover this…
