I just love how the lyrics of this song are super dark but the melody is kind of sad. It really gives the vibe that the POV character, on some level, knows that, in the words of Voldemort from A Very Potter Musical, “killing people doesn’t make them like you, it just makes them dead, ” but they are trapped in a delusional cycle of thinking this is how they find love anyway, making it kind of sad for everyone involved

The "Until you're gone" parts sound so melancholic. It gives off the vibe that playtime is over, there are no more screams, no more rush, just the silence of the consequences of what you've done.
I have a feeling the P.O.V character is a deeply lonely person who, on some level, just wants to find a friend and grows attached to their victims, as torture seems to be their way to bond, but once the person is dead, they try to find someone else to fill the void.
And the cycle continues.

I love this song so much. The vocals, the tune, the lyrics, EVERYTHING! I’ve been listening to this on loop for about 30 minutes. And I feel like Gloom has a perfectly haunting voice for this channel. Yall are incredibly underrated. Keep up the good work!
