Herring Gull and her chick: long call

Herring Gull is crying to be fed and watered and her chick is following her imitating her call without a sound. It is plus 35 degrees Celsius this Sunday afternoon the 9-th of August 2020, in Eastbourne East Sussex UK.
Herring Gulls are known to be very good parents. They feel the moral duty to feed their chicks until the age of three.

Oh yes, I remember that brutal week of heat. I wound up sleeping during the day to avoid the worst of it. I hope someone gave those poor birds some water.

Whats the brown seagull I been wanting to know cuz I seen a lot of them that has a pink beak but the tip has black and pink legs and on their feet with the legs
