Raveneye & Crowingheart OC MAP part

If you thought Crowsong's father Raveneye was terrible, let me introduce you to Crowingheart, a strong, intimidating cat chosen to reign as leader after Omensky declined her heritage to that position. His true, horrid nature revealed itself once the power was his.

His firstborn son Raveneye was taken under his wing through brutal training, manipulation and both verbal and physical punishment. Miraculously surviving a bird of prey attack thanks to corvids saving Ravenpaw should have been seen as sign of good fortune by their ancestors, but to Crowingheart he only saw weakness.

The new leader quickly grew mad with power and became tyranical and merciless to the point of threatening the future of his clan. Raveneye had to look past his adoration and attachment to his role model and unhestitanly risked his life to save his clanmembers; ending the unecessary violence and bloodlust their Crowingheart kept seeking.

(My stories feature leaders without the "star" suffix and only 1 life as well as the role being passed down through family lines in some clans unless cats resign from said position etc!)

Easily one of my new favorite projects so far! Backgrounds and scenes have always been my biggest insecurity but I'm quite proud of how it turned out :,D! The Pike Rocks are located on the far end of Corvidclan camp and is also featured in the "rocket to the moon" animatic! I've wanted to show more of Raveneye's history as a very damaged character, it's indeed family trauma driving the immoral choices and although I don't want to go too far into potientially triggering topics, I see it insightful to reveal the origins of bad characters and explore what shapes their future selves.

I absolutely love this because Raveneye throwing Crowingheart over the cliff could’ve symbolized him doing away with not just his father’s horribly negative role in his life but also his beliefs. However it all becomes more sinister knowing this is not the case and you begin to realize that the seeds of hatred have already been implanted in Raveneye, and it’s not before long that he repeats the cycle upon his own offspring. It also makes Crowsong’s story even more sad knowing that they all could’ve had a better ending if only Raveneye learned from his father’s mistakes rather than his father’s ideals.

Crowsong’s name feels even more tragic to me with this backstory. What a legacy to half share a name with. That definitely did not give her brownie points with the older members of the clan.

This is absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere is on point and the EXPRESSIONS when Ravenpaw knocks Crowingheart off of the cliff! The shock in Crowingheart's eyes and the absolute ADRENALINE in Ravenpaw's! His fear is so easy to feel, espeically when he's dangling off of the edge, and you can literally SEE him realizing what he's done and feeling the full weight of it. This is easily one of your best pieces yet, it could rival the Warbringers: Jaina PMV!

I love the intensity of every shot, how Crowingheart looms over young Raveneye the same way he looms over Crowsong as a father, the lighting, the expressions, the backgrounds... it's all so cool!

You said before that it was generational trauma all the way down. Can't wait to see how deep it goes.

I love that Crowingheart is towering over Raveneye in a way to show the power he holds and that he's a cruel and threatening character and that submissive look Raven gives him despite the scowl on his face. Absolutely brilliant! Your work is honestly so inspirational, I loved everything in this piece and your many other masterpieces. I do hope you have a wonderful day/night too! ^^

I wanna take some time to absolutely APPRECIATE the backgrounds. The closed space of what I'm assuming is the medicine den to transition into what is this BIG open field of this massive battle between two clans. And how you truly felt the PLUNGE as Crowingheart fell over the edge. Also I love how you can see even the other Clan members bein shocked.

I love how this is like the backstory kind of Arc it’s amazing. I never knew this about Raveneye but it makes me feel so bad, and your art is getting better and better by the minute pace job❤❤❤❤

Crowing'Heart looks like batman, and I'm digging it. In all serious this is gorgeous, the character expressions everything is a blessing to the eye. It really shows how each of the 3 (Crowsong, crowingheart, and raveneye) seemingly the pain and suffering starting from crowingheart, properly after getting his suffix, that be turned so Ruthless and violent. It makes me think that crowsong was named after his dad, maybe raveneye felt a wave of disappointment seeing the white kit, and naming it after his horrible cat. Almost like he sees them as the same cat. Maybe I'm looking into it too much but it really shows how behaviour or little specs of that behaviour are passed down. I overall loved this!
