Install the QGIS Semi Automatic Classification Plugin with the OSGeo4W Network Installer

The Semi-Automatic Classification plugin is great for remote sensing analysis in QGIS. Recently, I saw many questions about installing the dependencies that are needed for version 8.x of the Semi-Automatic Classification plugin, which depends on the remotior sensus Python library. For Windows you can easily add these through the OSGeo4W installer.

I followed your instructions and am getting an error in blue "error starting remotior sensus" then in orange "Python library remotior sensus is outdated. this could coase errors, please update Remotior Sensus". Im using QGIS 3.38.2. any suggestions? thank you for the video

Hello, when I tried to use the OSGeo4W, I didn't seem to find any available sites. This has been troubling me and couldn't even properly install PCRaster as well. Do you have any insights on how to solve this issue? Thanks!

that is alot of work just to use this software, im ready to just draw maps by hand to be stress free.
