In this video I unbox my second PinePhone, a postmarketOS CE Convergence Package one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB eMMC.
Also I show upgrading the PinePhone (including u-boot) and installing the best camera app for Phosh-based PinePhone OS: megapixels.

If you want to buy a PinePhone, the Manjaro Community Edition should be on sale currently – and I do recommend getting the Convergence Package with 3GB of RAM (just check out my Anbox videos to get an idea why the extra USD 50 are totally worth it).

Biggest problem in using pine phone is non availability of frequently used apps such as Uber, Ola, Gpay, etc. Everyone would start using Linux phones once large companies start creating their apps for Ubuntu touch OS, postmarket OS, etc. But large companies are deliberately sticking to Android and iOS all the time! It is not surprising why Microsoft themselves could not get any increase of market share of their Windows phone because large companies are not creating most commonly used apps for Windows phone! Most of the alternative os phones have whatsapp but whatsapp simply is not enough! We need apps for booking cabs, sending and receiving payments, etc.

Hi, first of all I apologize because my bad English... I would like to ask the followings:
1. Can you install to this phone from source anything?
2. Can you install the MOC music player? (Musics on console)
3. Is there on that phone the MC? Or if not, is it possible to install (compile) it from source?
4. Is the LibreOffice available?
5. Please try to use that phone via external keyboard, especially with the Logitech K400 wireless keyboard!
6. Is it possible to attach the pinephone to a laptop via USB, and then to mount it, in order to transfer files between the two devices via USB, in commandline (CLI) environment?
Sorry again because my broken, Tarzan-like English...
