Can You Trust a Zestimate?

These days, one of the more common questions I hear concerns Zillow, the popular real estate website. Is their home valuation tool, the Zestimate, really all that accurate? Today I want to fill you in on what the Zestimate can—and can’t—do. If you’re looking for a very rough ballpark estimate of your home's value, Zillow might be useful. However, the Zestimate can be off by up to $100,000, so you’ll have to decide if that’s worth it to you.
