I designed my 1600 square foot addition by myself and paid a licensed engineer to “check” my work. They did so and signed off giving me their name to submit it under for 2000 vs the 6500 they quoted me to do the design.

My biggest problem with filling out the building permit correctly has been understanding terminology and your video cleared that up for me. I will use your video as a guide to resubmit my permit application and hopefully it gets approved this time. If possible, would you allow me to send you a copy of the permit application before i resubmit t my township, just to make sure i dotted the i's and crossed the t's?

I am in Vegas, had the city tell me that the room outside was built with out a permit when I bought it. I wanna keep the room but still need a permit. How would I go about doing plans and estimated cost if it's already constructed? And I'm on the application page part of the online building permit site but I'm not sure where I'm suppose to get the form from to upload it. Sorry doing this all by myself and I'm not sure how.
