This would have been very helpful before I started my current project. Totally explains why I had so many blow outs with my nails. Thanks for the great tips!!

Thank you, thank you, you learn something new every day and this was my daily tip. I HATE it when a nail blows through a piece of trim into the door or window casing. Subscribed.

I like the short format of your videos. Simple, I learnt something useful! Better than half useful piece of information burried in 10:01 movies ;)

Thanks for the video, just used this tip when making cabinets for my work trailer and it saved my drawer fronts

You just blew my mind. For the life of me could never figure out why I would get blowouts so often. I always thought I was hitting hard wood grain that made the nail deviate. I'm trying this next time. Thanks!

I wonder what you think of gluing such door casing and also baseboard. There are new(ish) specialized expanding adhesive foam suitable for this. Or maybe good old construction adhesive?

Finally found a good video on which gauge to use where -- had not heard or used a 23g on the jamb side -- gives me pause. What about spacing between brads?

I try to always remember to hold gun horizontal for clean holes left but never knew the reason the nails curled was the chisel point. Learned something new today now to my garage to see if my CA adhesive is medium or thick.

Good to know, never looked at the orientation of the nail tip

What’s this about different gauges? Can you elaborate? Thanks!

Just found your channel- very informative but also entertaining. Any opinions on the Metabo HPT NT65A5M Finish nailer or the Metabo HPT NT50A5M 18 Gauge Pro Brad Nailer?

After my 3rd Cadex in 4 years I switched to the Metabo 23g cordless and I’ve been pleasantly surprised for a few months now.

And the grain of the wood: orienting the gun the right way allows the chisel point to slip between the grains, and less likely to damage the wood.
