If they are doing voice chat I hope they build in voice filters like, maybe an inkling filter or that kind of thing, it would help keep kids safe online, and would be fun to boot up splatoon and hear all of your friends voices sounding bubbly. And of course with built in voice chat anyone could play a game that needs a mic, maybe the next Luigi’s mansion will have proximity chat

Several things to point out:
1) The ports in the leaked joycon were also in the original switch. So they arent a new concept. A peripheral like the ring fit are a thing afterall. It was transfering the data from the strenght sensor to the game.
2) The top usb c port from the cad design. Well you cant snap peripheral directly like you are supposing. Consider that there are vents & ports near it, so you cant obstruct them. Theres enough space for standard usb c head sizes only.
3) You are forgetting about the dock. Adding a wifi receiver in there could be a ginmick that could allow the possibility of having some a handful of wii u ports & assymetrical multiplayer in general. Basically the switch would have 3 controllers from the get go.
4) Nintendo has made 3 thumbstick patents public. They could use 1 or 2 of them.

Everyone is over thinking the USB port on top. I think the bigger issue to consider is the magnetic rails. With magnets the joycon has the possibility to connect to the console in a half hanging method. I think this way if the new peripheral will be a second screen it can be connected with the joycon below the main unit not with usb. I think the USB is only on top so the console can charge the joycon and screen peripheral all at the same time and it's a marketing strategy to name the next gen Flipswitch just cuz it goes in the cradle upside-down compared to the previous console

What if they make the switch 1 blue tooth compatible with the switch 2 so the old switch becomes the controller for the new switch, with the screen attached we can play DS games on NSO

We have to keep in mind that this is Nintendo we're talking about. A social button would be obvious for any other company but Nintendo has been rather hesitant about social features. In general, they don't tend to take the obvious route.

I'm struggling to think of another use for a new button, to be honest. Only thing that pops up in my mind is a dock that can wirelessly communicate with the handheld, and a new button to wirelessly connect and disconnect from that dock. Then again, I'm not sure they'd want a repeat of the WiiU, where games that had the option to use the secondary display (rather than mandate its use) often had scarce utility for that secondary display.

The only thing I need is a power upgrade for now. The Switch is just a technical performance mess. 1080p 60 fps is enough, 4K would be even cooler, but more power isn't really necessary.
