This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them. You now own 5% of the entire 100nx fleet.

What a great episode. Thanks for saving them.

These videos are generally far more interesting than some anonymous £20k - £40k metallic grey German BMW/Audi/Mercedes

What you need is a third 100NX as a donor vehicle.

Just when I thought you are being awesome for saving that blue one, you bring in the white one...not as a donor, but to save it as well. Mind blown, for real. One thing, stop excusing yourself for doing the right thing. So glad I found your channel almost a year ago. Looking forward to seeing these cars back on the road.

Thanks, think you have cornered the market for used 100NX. You have the national collection.

When i was 20, I desperately wanted a 200sx, but was never going to get insured, so bought a 3 year old 100nx. It understeared like a pig, and was basically a Nissan Sunny under the skin, but i loved it, especially the T bar roof. When i hit 25, i bought an s14a 200sx and had it for 10 years, absolutely loved that car.
Oh, the nose is plastic.

In case someone hasn't noticed. Look at the Nissan Pulsar for parts. It's the same car except as a saloon rather than coupe. Same interior (except front seats) and same mechanicals. They are a lot more prolific in scrap yards and parts are cheap. Glove box should match as it's the same dashboard.

Never change, Matt!! 🔥

You're a true petrol head doing god's work by keeping these rare quirky cars on the road.

These videos are miles more interesting than any other!

There's a 100NX owners club I believe. Might be some interest there

I think it'll be worth it to see both of them restored; they're rare cars and I'm sure that even if they're niche, whoever is going to buy them is going to love them!

Thanks for saving them. We had one for seven years. It never let us down 👍

I had one of these for my first car and I’m very fond of them - mine was also the same shade of blue and was fitted with a rare high level brake light at factory just under the spoiler that I’ve never seen on another. Bought it for £800 with 88k on the clock in 2008 and it was brilliant.

After many years and many more expensive/modern cars later, I still look back at my 100NX with a smile. L989 JKN - long since departed unfortunately but seems it lived until 2016 and 145k.

I am such a nerd. I saw the thumbnail and guessed it to be a Civic Del Sol or a 100NX. I don't know whether to be proud or ashamed. I haven't seen a 100NX in years and I still think it's a pretty little thing. My '89 Honda motorcycle has one of those asbestos stickers, I think it's either some of the plastics or wiring sheathing. Harmless as long as you don't start sanding or heat-gunning them.
I love the man-maths; "I need a donor car, so I'll buy a second, but it's also quite nice so if I repair both then the profit will average out."
That said, I do have a serious soft spot for the 100NX so I'm genuinely glad Matt is daft enough to save both and call it a business!

Welcome to the Nissan 100NX collectors club! I'd restore both then maybe sell them together.

I’m not going to lie, I am super jealous of having the ability and funds to buy older cars to save them from the scrap heap and give them life again.

Charming little cars these 100NX.

I am pretty sure that the Nissan Primera and Almera had the same alloys from that era… so you may find the wheels easier to get hold of than any other parts.

Either way, I’m looking forward to the update video on these two, Matt 👍🏻👍🏻

Fun little cars, the like of which it seems we won't see again. Definitely worth saving, IMO.

I think you should do a couple of videos on them as I would like to see the process of getting them back on the road!

My wife had an NX2000 in ‘93. We loved that little car. In the USA we had 2 flavors: NC2000 with the 2.0 SE-R motor and the NC1600 with the 1.6. The 1600’s came with a funky digital cluster
