I sang both parts while on guard duty in a admin building on midway island naval station in 1964. this tune was already oldish. Of course the place was deserted in the middle of night and the long hall made a good acoustic chamber ..I needed it ..I was terrible... but it passed the time... Has always been a favorite.

I discovered this song when I was a teen in the 80's cruising around L.A. With one of my best friends. A lot of teens in the 80's were big into oldies here in L.A. We still listen to them...mostly the low rider crowd bumps oldies....

This is the first rock song I ever heard when I was twelve years old.

My brother and i with a young looking girl at Kern Jr High East LA 1957 sang this song "A Casual Look" a great song back then.

Since Herve Kent, and E. Rodney death, we don't have anyone to play our old favorite, or to remind us of how our era was, but thanks to the young man that brings back old, dusties, or doo wop music on WJYS. I can not remember his name exactly, but I think it's Danny or something, he's Italian, and he's always bringing music on the air from different times, and people that song and played these songs, rather they were the Blues, Jazz, Doo Wop, or Rock and Roll, or whatever, he is on it, the young man is a genius. I'm hoping whatever is next on his agenda, will continue to bring back great memories, because memories are the only things that I got left.
