I never get tired of this fascinating and intentional process… you can see the indigo pigments shimmer like gold in the blue depths of the vat, and watching the color deepen as each piece oxidizes in the fresh air, makes it hard to believe that this is such a natural and sustainable process. Forever grateful for this blessed plant which has gifted humanity centuries of pigment for our textiles. 💙🌿
