Hi, I am your host Siddhartha! I have been an entrepreneur from 2012-2017 building two products AddoDoc and Babygogo. After selling my company to SHEROES, I and my partner Nansi decided to start up again. But we felt unequipped in our skillset in 2018 to build a large company. We had known 0-1 journeys from our startups but lacked the experience of building 1-10 journeys.

Hence was born The Neon Show (Earlier 100x Entrepreneur) to learn from founders and investors, the mindset to scale yourself and your company. This quest still keeps us excited even after 5 years and doing 200+ episodes.

We welcome you to our journey to understand what goes behind building a super successful company. Every episode is done with a very selfish motive, that I and Nansi should come out as a better entrepreneur and professional after absorbing the learnings.

I have had the privilege of flying both Mr. JRD Tata and Ratan Tata several times on board our Air India flights in my capacity as an Air Hostess with Air India. JRD Sir loved his airline, nurtured it like a parent and was very proud and possessive of it. We in turn loved and respected him greatly. Yes, he could be a task master going around the aircraft during his flights and checking on EVERYTHING from how the food was presented, the placing of cutlery on the trays, to the cleanliness of the toilets and carpets and seat covers. He would check on the liquor and wines and soft drinks on board. He would expect us to have a sound knowledge about the wines, champagne, cheese and food served on board. No wonder Air India was ranked so high during Mr. Tata's tenure. He was very approachable too and we could walk up to him and discuss our problems with him. I have beautiful memories of my flights with JRD Sir and Mr. Ratan Tata.

JRD and Ratan Tatas are industrialist. Whereas Ambanis and Adanis are Businessmen. There are huge differences in their ways of approach

Though Air India had been nationalised in 1953 from Tata Airlines, JRD Tata was always obsessed with Air India, as it was his brainchild and India’s response to development in aviation at the time.
This is probably why the Tata Group didn’t not hesitate to acquire Air India for $2.2 Billion.

I find myself deeply affected by his passing, even though I had no personal connection with him. It's hard to comprehend what might be going through the mind of Mr. Jimmy Tata at this moment. With the departure of his last remaining blood relative, he stands alone, carrying the weight of his family's legacy and the grace that comes with it. He must be experiencing profound sorrow, as neither of these men had families of their own to lean on. Their parents have also passed away, leaving behind a void that is truly heart-wrenching. The situation is incredibly tragic and heartbreaking, as it underscores the loneliness and loss that comes with being the last of one's family.

I have huge respect to Mr. Tata and their lineage… at present the low level leaderships are spoiling the name by offering poor services and quality of the TATA motor vehicles.
If Mr. Tata can indulge in ground level inspections every now and then… the teams would start fearing and get back on their horses to deliver quality.
