After leaving Albania, we went north to the small country of Montenegro with the goal of answering 2 questions:

1) Is Montenegro a good place to live abroad as a foreign resident or expat from the US or Canada?

2) Is Montenegro a good part of our Schengen Shuffle Strategy?

I like the format where you walk and then mention something in your video and show that "something"

A little beach town that I enjoyed was Petrovac. I spent several months there and went back there two or three times. Petrovac is.a place to kick back and relax. You won't be swamped with American tourists. The tourists were fairly evenly divided from all parts of the world. This is not a partying beach town. It's a lovely little coastal village where you can enjoy the food and scenery and perhaps use as a base to travel to other parts of the country.

My son served in the US embassy in Podgorica and absolutely loved it. Met his wife there, too.

I really like your format with fewer studio shots and more commentary out in the field. It feels much more real!

Looks like a great place to visit. On a geek note you all have hit your stride on storytelling and video editing. Very much appreciate the time and effort put into these videos.

I’ve walked those Kotor streets, the top of castle 2x, the winding trail 1x. My friend took me to tivat to catch plane to leave from Herzegovina Novi in his 43 foot sailboat. One great way to leave such a breathtaking country.😊

After Podgorica that was cheaper as you've said, I stayed in Sutomore near Bar for 15 Euro per night. It cost me 1.50 Euro to visit Bar where I had to pay tourist tax. Bus to Budva cost 4.50 Euro each direction. After one month in Montenegro they told me that I didn't have to pay any more tax or keep registering. I agree about supermarkets not having varieties. Yet, the locals are so proud of their supermarkets. I've also noticed that there are many Russians and Serbians who live here. Serbian, Croatian and Montenegrin language is same, only different dialect.

I like the new format, it's jazzy and slick. I will still watch your videos no matter what the style is because in the end, they are chockfull of information and useful and that's what it's all about. Thanks again !

So glad you are showing Montenegro! I dated a girl from Montenegro. lol she had a really funny sense of humor. Kinda weird taste though... she thought putting ketchup on pizza was a thing...
