Belomo Elikon 4 (Эликон-4) is a plastic Point and Shoot camera from the late 1980's manufactured in the old Soviet Union. It is an aperture priority, zone-focus camera with a 38mm f4 lens. This makes it a pretty good camera for Street Photography.

The plastic lens renders a dreamy image unto the film, combined with strong vignetting and slight distortion around the edges of the image. Paired with the Lomography CN 400 and a sunny day with the Christmas colours out, it was a lomo day of fun.

Unfortunately the Camera Museum was closed on the day, so I wasn't able to get footage inside, but I will return for sure.

My favourite Lomo camera is the LC-A hands down. Such a beautiful piece of machinery. I had one years ago but sold it along with a host of other film cameras. I bought one recently for £30 but sent it back as the film wind broke.

A very interesting video, I have 2 Eastern Block camera’s, my Zorki 4K that’s my favourite camera and a Pratika my father in law gave me. What's up OC? It's amazing how many European cameras there are that I've never heard of. I've got a funny question for you though. What if you want a Sony sweepstakes and you got an A 9 and a whole kit of lenses. How would having that gear affect your Channel? Would you be tempted to change the channel name two new cameras LOL. Now that I think about it that wouldn't be cool because everybody is doing new cameras now. We need to keep the old ones alive as you're doing. Peace
