The first time I saw the original, I 100% believed that this could be real, you know, the whole music when handcranking thing. The panther (the tank shown in the video) and the tiger both had field manuals specifically written in a comedic and laid-back way, so I genuinely thought it was just an extension of that. “For a fun Easter egg, try starting your engine using the hand crank sometime!” Type thing, or maybe as an incentive to try and do it instead of leaving the tank for scrap.

Only a few minutes later did I realize that playing a Prussian marching song in Soviet territory when your tank is not currently on and you are outside would be a horrible idea, regardless of if it was meant to keep the crew happy.
