This worked for me, TYSM! I want to add that you DO NOT NEED to reinstall Chrome unless the app you are trying to install IS the Chrome app. in my case, I was trying to install the Logitech Setpoint application so I could tweak my Logitech mouse settings and got the error message. Just follow the steps then uninstall and reinstall whichever application it is you are trying to install, making sure you have the correct version (x86 vs x64). Now my cursor can move fast for games or slow for precise work like video editing.

I went to a different web browser and installed chrome again and it worked

If you still can't open (its probably because you messed up something while trying to configure stuff on other drivers) make sure to change everything you modified back to normal and change chrome target field from the wrong driver to the actual correct driver, then restart your pc
