Colin Creevy…a true Gryffindor to the end

Arguably it’s his parents deaths that hit him the hardest as the seminal event that sets his life down the path it does and their loss weighs heavy on him from the start.

I could see the argument that Cedric’s is what hits him the hardest as it’s the first death he sees and represents the symbolic end of his childhood, beginning the darkest time in the books.

But Sirius is clearly the one that Harry thinks hits him the most and hardest. His last relative and father figure snatched away from him when he felt he was finally growing closer to him. His death was more devastating for Harry than any other event in the books, and it’s honestly not close.

Even Dumbledore is more of a loss for the audience than Harry as while he was loyal to him and treasured Dumbledore, he wasn’t anywhere near as close to him as Sirius.

And I would also throw Hedwig in there as everyone else knew what they were signing up for but her death was so tragically needless as a casualty of war. (Even moreso in the movie where she tries to defend Harry.)

Regarding death in the whole series, I think J.K. picked who to kill very good and wise. In the matter of pain and tragedy, all deaths were very painful for reader. But still, it could have been a lot worse for people even more closer to Harry, like Ginny for example or Ron and Hermione. So yeah, J.K. picked really great characters so the reader can really FEEL how death was close for everyone in the series. Painful, but still very beautiful. 😪

Good to see you have returned Dean
Thanks for the new Hp vid and your most recent vampire content
Out of all the tragic deaths I always thought it was the end of Sirius that hit the hardest for Harry..still poor Colin..he was one brave Gryffindor

Hedwig, Dobby and Fred was the hardest death that I took badly, do to the Weasley twins, Dobby and Hedwig are my top favorite characters along with Luna Lovegood. Bellatrix and Snape are also my favorite characters that are on the other side of the team, too, lol. But I think the hardest death's for Harry where Cedric cuz that's the first death he witness at the hand's of Voldemort. Than next would also be Sirius, cuz he was the closes family to Harry that actually cared for Harry other than Harry's died parent.

Harry is a good person that others did bad things to 😢

I don't think any death hit him harder than Sirius. Remus, Fred, Dumbledore, Colin, etc all had impact, but Sirious was by far the biggest one.

Colin died in the first part of the battle. Hence harry seeing neville carry him in when he was getting ready to go to the forest

Colin Creevey, if he had lived, would've made an excellent photographer and photojournalist. May he rest in peace.

The whole series still make me sad with so many deaths of characters that I loved.

So excited for a new video. Amazing edits! Love it! What program did you use for the AI photos? They have such great likeness to the real characters.
I wish they kept Colin Creevey in the films, but I guess he grew too tall too fast or something like that.

One thing that I totally agree upon, that Colin's death really made Harry realise that, it's not only the battle between the order and the death eaters anymore. I believe that, his death hit Harry so hard that, actually push him and made him more firm on his decision, to go into the forest and face voldemort.
Earlier on I thought his death, was just a death count, and he as a sweet character went in vein for no reason, but your video made me see the fact that, it was necessary for Harry's character development

I would argue Harry was most traumatized by Cedric's death. He spent the entire next book blaming himself for it and snapping at people, and he was completely unprepared for it, so it was a big shock.

Love a new video, Colin came to mind immediately when I saw the title, but, I’m not sure there was one most painful loss. Death is devastating.
