I used to land my trainer like the first attempt to land the Coursair. The only difference was I wasn't smart enough to go around, I'd just find the plane wwwaayyy past the end of the runway in pieces. Something's you just can't learn by yourself! Great flying.

Re: Size, I thought that maybe European models had to be of a certain size to compete in contests or if smaller models were just not competitive.

Why are so many European models built in such large scales compared to American models? Also,   I don't understand why so many are often flown together with likelihood of mid-air collisions. Not criticism, just wondering why.
