After US President Donald Trump announced putting an end to birthright citizenship in the country as part of strict anti-immigration policies, expecting Indian parents in the US are rushing to give birth opting for preterm C-sections to beat the birthright ban deadline-- February 20.

According to media reports, the desperation amongst expecting Indian parents to beat the birthright ban deadline is increasing with each passing day as after this executive order is in place the babies born after February 20 will not be automatically entitled to US citizenship like before.

The child's health and safety is more important than it's citizenship..I know a friend who flew back to India despite having the chance to have a citizenship for her child just for her safety and her child's following birth as her parents or in laws couldn't come to US.May be she is one of the very few but respect to that decision..
This video just shows how desperate people are even putting their babies to risk

This rule cannot be changed without giving 9 months of time .. if someone carrying 6 months baby then what does she do in March? While all these 6 months she has been thinking newone gets rights
