In my alcohol recovery group I'd been under attack with slander and gossip against me. I would not join in on their sexual pass around game, they gross me out. I made a big enemy for turning her sexual advance down. After critical surgery I was at my weakest and the attacks began. I was being isolated from everyone in that group. I was amazed when the last friend switched from sitting next to me and laughing and having a good time when we met. One day he was sitting next to the woman who hated me. He finally knew he had been fooled and cussed the whole group. He acknowledged me as his friend and then left the group. I now have one friend and a brother to talk to, they lied about me and ruined my life in that group. I knew there was an evil spirit in the group and she got everyone to turn against me. It's a gross story of hatred, jealousy, envy, and spite. I left them finally.

This whole episode did cause me to turn more to Jesus Christ..."what a friend we have in Jesus." Amen
