“Hunted” || short story teaser/concept

Summary:

It’s the year 3091 and for many years, *“normal”* people and those with *supernatural abilities* have coexisted together happily. Crime rate went down, peace was kept and everyone was happy. Until one day those with powers of any sort started going missing. Eventually, the numbers accumulated too much to the point where the military and government turned on the people for unknown reasons, spiraling everything into chaos. Now, any and all survivors are being hunted down by military troops. We follow Valarie and her giant wolf-dog companion Aspen as they fight for their survival. Valarie and Aspen have been hiding in her father’s bunker for three years since this war began. They leave every three days to find whatever food and resources they need to survive another day. Valarie’s main goals are to find fellow survivors and to find the truth as to why people are being hunted down, especially those who are gifted with supernatural powers/abilities. Follow Valarie and Aspen as they fight to find fellow survivors while avoiding being caught by troops and uncovering the dark truths to this war and the *past.* Will Valarie find any *survivors?* What happens when someone is taken by the troops? Why did the government turn on its people and what are they *hiding?*

THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE CAE! Aspen and Valerie seem like such good companions! The chills it gave me when Ellie said “I’m scared” I felt how terrified she would have been if she almost got caught by troops before! And that plot twist when the scientists tested Valerie and her eyes turned purple! I have no words I can’t wait for more cae! 💜💜💜💜

What I think: THAT WAS SO COOL, I NEED MORE! I was scared, surprised, and excited all at the same time. The end though! It was cool and I think everyone agrees that WE NEED MORE! I scared for everyone in the skit. Do they find out Val has powers? What do they do with the powers if they find out? Is anyone else going to die? I have ssssooo many questions. I really hope a full version comes out soon!
