Stephen, I hope you know how great you are in helping so many drmmers, I have watched many drummers on YouTube who share free lessons, and you, sir, are one of the easiest to follow and one of the most generous guys out there!!! I get so much out of your videos --- and I just want to thank you very much. You also are a pleasure to watch, you have a lot of heart and a great personality! BRAVO!

I need a cow bell.... but I bought my hit hats, piccolo snare and cymbal stands from the guy in BC who has the Loverboy “Working for the Weekend” cow bell. Picked it up after the tour was over.

I can attempt these beats, however, I have usually played the cowbell with my right hand with it mounted on the bass drum.

“You fool no one” by Deep Purple is one song that never gets talked about enough in terms of cowbell beats. Probably cuz it’s a deep cut but yeah that should have been on here.

Hey Stephen - that was fun and a few in there I hadn't heard of. My favourite is by the great Ian Paice of Deep Purple track You Fool No One, from the album Burn. It'd be great for you to break that one down. Cheers.

Even though just in the intro and/or Can’t forget “Rock of Ages” (Def Leppard), “We’re not gonna take it” (Twisted Sister), and “Monkey Business” (Skidrow).... Drives me crazy to see the cowbell section mistakes people make on Monkey Business especially. Most forget to hit it along with the snare which requires playing the high hat open handed with left hand usually. Guess this tells you a lot about my genre of choice! #80sKid Lol

Stephen, in Slaughter's song 'get used to it' the drummer uses cowbell at intro. Am I right?
